Ryo Fukawa

Ryo Fukawa was born on August 19, 1974 in Kanagawa Prefecture. He debuted as a comedian in 1994 while he was a student at Keio University. In 1998, he began his career as a musician under the name ROCKETMAN. He has also been active as a DJ, composer, and lyricist. Fukawa is the host of the radio program OTHERS, which airs every Saturday night on J-WAVE .He is also the main MC of “Goji-ni-Muchu” on TOKYO MX. Recently, he produced the song “Koi-wa-Okawari” for The Okawari Sister.

Miho Tanaka

Miho Tanaka, a model, was born in Tokyo in 1983. She now lives in Sapporo. Tanaka has been active as a model for a variety of fashion magazines including mina and MORE. Recently, she has appeared on TV and radio programs. In March of this year, Tanaka moved to Sapporo. She regularly appears on “Dosanko-Wide” (STV) and contributes to Sapporo’s town magazine, Poroco.

Takuya Oyama

Takuya Oyama is the representative director of the new Japanese entertainment website Natalie. He was born in 1971 in Sapporo and graduated from Hokkaido University’s Department of Literature. Since 1997, Oyama has been engaged in magazines and web medium. He founded Natasha, Inc. in 2005. Since 2007, he has run the company’s website, Natalie, which features daily news on four genres: music, comics, comedy, and movies.

Each of the objects in a room holds a memory, time, and character and in these tremendous memories there is a skin that contours the people who come in contact with them. In this film, we want to express the time that changes and circles endlessly while making flows, waves, and winds that exist together inside a cosmic space.

Atsushi Makino

Since 2006, Atsushi majored in Film and TV Graphics at UMPRUM (Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague) in Czech Republic. It brought him a great opportunity to study puppet animation and hand-drawn animation under splendid professionals. After his studies abroad, he returned to Japan, and entered the Animation course in the Film and New Media department at Tokyo University of the Arts. Join P.I.C.S as a Director in 2015. He has been successfully building his career by creating a various range of works such as hand-drawn animations and music videos. Atsushi is currently acting as the Brand Ambassodor in his hometown, Fukui.

Theodore Ushev

Theodore Ushev (1968) is an animator, graphic designer, illustrator and multimedia artist. He graduated from the National Academy of Arts in Sofia and moved to Montréal in 1999 to explore new media and digital animation. He is the director of award winning films such as Gloria Victoria, Lipsett Diaries, Drux Flux, Tower Bawher and many others.

Kid 606 "B Minor"

David Wilson, Christy Karacas

David Wilson is a music video director based in Los Angeles, recently moving after formed his career in London over the past 6 years. He’s known for crossing disciplines between animation and live action, often combining the two to create something totally unique. David has created work for artists such as Arctic Monkeys, David Guetta, Lady Gaga, Metronomy, Tame Impala, and gained a grammy nomination this year for his video for Arcade Fire, ’We Exist’.

Christy Karacas studied film and animation at the Rhode Island School of Design. His work has been featured in festivals and screenings around the world including the Ottawa International Animation Festival, Annecy International Animated Film Festival, P.S. 1 Contemporary Art Center, Deitch Projects, Galleri Loyal, Tribeca Film Festival, MTV’s ‘Cartoon Sushi’, Cartoon Network, Playboy and Vice Magazine. He co-created and directs ‘Superjail!’ on Adult Swim and lives in Brooklyn, NY.

Caleb Wood
CALEB WOOD is an independent animation artist and moving image enthusiast. He received a BFA in Film/Animation/Video at the Rhode Island School of Design in 2011, and has since gone on to show work internationally and continue making animated films.

Masanobu Hiraoka
Born in 1986. Graduated from Momoyama high school (general education) in 2006. He then started to work but could not give up his dream : being an animator. He started to learn animation by himself and is a completely self-educated artist. He now lives and works in Tokyo as a free-lance animator in adverising or music video for clients such as UNIQLO. Next to this, he creates his own animations based on metamorphosis and strange or impossible motions he sets up in an unlikely reality.

KOKOFreakbean
KOKOFREAKBEAN was born on the edge of a boob-job in the cajoling bitch-slap of God’s first heavy flirtation with full-blown pedophilia. In plainer language, it was born in San Antonio, Texas. Its first memory took place at the devilishly tender and deep fried age of 4 and involves an iron, a goblin, and a door built into a wall several meters above the floor. During its childhood, it hit a neighbor with a bat while they were lying down on their driveway and it realized it was evil and it wanted to change. After several relapses, it can now honestly say that it is a sensitive human being.

Born in 1978 (San Diego, CA), Schulnik earned her BFA in Experimental Animation from CalArts. She has exhibited her paintings, film and sculpture at museums and galleries worldwide. Her films, which she has been making since the age of 17, have been screened and awarded at festivals around the world. The artist lives and works in LA.

YUKI is an edgy and artistic Japanese musician. She has collaborated with many art directors and artists, and this time, ShiShi Yamazaki is the one. Yamazaki makes hand-drawn animations using the method of rotoscoping with watercolor-like visuals. She often uses herself as a motif and her works have been shown all around the world. In this music video, both YUKI and ShiShi become motifs and the result turns out to be a highly artistic achievement.

ShiShi Yamazaki has developed her practice hand-drawing animation, exploring painting, drawing, collage, sculpture, printmaking, and installation art as well as fashion and product design. Her works has been seen in commercial movie such as Prada and Shiseido. She lives in Tokyo, currently has been working on her lifelong project [Mask] , which she create a face mask every day.
